Welcome to EXCEPT

EXCEPT is a fast-paced endless arcade shooter where reflexes and self-control are essential. You pilot a ship in an open arena flooded with colored enemies.

Shooting is easy.
Knowing when not to shoot is the real challenge.

The EXCEPT rule

At all times, one color is marked as EXCEPT. Enemies of that color must not be hit.

Break the rule, and you pay the price: every four mistakes strip away a hard-earned upgrade.

The progression

At the beginning of each run you start with 3 lives, you will increase your score and level up by killing enemies. 

At each round there will be some enemy spawners, destroy them to proceed to the next one but be aware that the enemies will be stronger.

This is my first game and I'm a solo dev, unfortunately I haven't figured out how to avoid the unkown author alert by Windows Defender.

If anyone can help me I will appreciate it a lot.
